This is a long shot, since they didn't make this design for very long: I need the spring that holds the paper tray (I think that's the correct term) closed. The paper tray, which is to the immediate rear of the platen, swings back to reveal the margin setting mechanism, and the spring serves as a cam to keep the tray closed -- it fits right in the middle of the hinge.

The All New is very similar to the Quiet Riter, which succeeded it, but the QR has visible margin setting levers so doesn't have the same design.
