Remington Noiseless Model 1 portable typewriter?

I saw this Remington Noiseless portable on Ebay and I'm pretty sure that is is a model 7... however, the front frame says Model 1. Is this just a case of someone putting the wrong decal on years after the original wore off? I almost positive that that must have been what happened, but I thought I would run it by everyone on here.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Remington Noiseless Model 1 portable typewriter?

The "Model 1" decal is identical to the one on my actual Model 1 (the photos used for the header and footer of the forum are from that machine), so who knows how it got on that typewriter. The seller seems to be a collector of some kind - or just in the business of flipping typewriters - so it might be worth asking him.

The pronoun has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.
