Help identifying typewriter - Sears The Achiever with correction

Hi. I just picked up a functional Sears The Achiever today. I'm trying to find information on it but am coming up short. I read that most Sears units are just re-brands of other units such as Brother or Smith-Corona. Anyone know what machine this actually is? Would love to find more info about it.

That's a Brother, though I don't know which JP? model it is. There is extensive discussion of them at
http://typewriterdatabase.com/brother.10.typewriter-serial-number-database
and
http://munk.org/typecast/?s=Brother

Have Fun!

Yeah, looks like it's a Brother unit. I'll look more into them and see if I can find a close match. Don't know if this will help narrow it down, but the model number is 268.52500 and serial M35365367

The model number is an internal Sears number and has nothing to do with Brother, but the serial number is definitely a Brother serial number.

The pronoun has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.
