Ribbon spool size - 1953 Hermes Baby

Hey there typeheads,

anyone who can tell me the diameter of the ribbon spools of a 1953 Hermes Baby?
Just bought one - excellent condition - but the previous owner has jammed in ribbon spools, that are clearly too big for this little baby. In inches or centimeters - whatever. Thanks a lot!

Thomas, my 1957 Hermes Baby, which looks the same as the 1953, has a regular 2" spool on one side a a regular 50mm one on the other.  ;-)
Isn't it kinda difficult to even get a spool larger than 2"?

Check out this image. Bottom left is Hermes all models. Previous owner has jammed in something the size of bottom far right... SO it is possible to get larger spools. I just didn't know the size of the Hermes one. But I'll search for a 50 mm Hermes spool. Thanks!

Just measured the once in my new Hermes. 54 mm in diameter... Guess it's the extra 4 that causes all the trouble.

Or maybe "the ones" would look better on paper...
