Smith-Corona 250 Office Electric

Hi,

I have a Smith-Corona 250 Office Electric. I presume that the machine is from 1967, but actually the series is not listed here: https://typewriterdatabase.com/smithcorona.86.typewriter-serial-number-database

My serial number is VX6R-109469 and there is no VX6R in that list. For instance "X6RV 101234 up" means 1967.
Looking at the machine and at its keyboard i presume that it is from 1967. I also know that the newest patent mentioned in the sticker under the carriage is dated 4th of May 1965.

Does somebody know something about this?

Re: Smith-Corona 250 Office Electric

My guess is that you machine is a 250 Mark I from 1965...

Sometimes the letter prefixes make no sense...so I go by model and just the numbers.
