The European Gallery

A gallery dedicated to typewriter manufacturers from European countries (NOT including Germany, Switzerland, or Italy - we have a seperate gallery for those countries). Maybe you have a Japy from France, or like the example below, a Consul from Czechoslovakia. Let's see your European typewriters!

1960s Commodore Personal:
The model's case is made in Canda, but the rest of the typewriter is assembled from parts supplied by Consul. http://36.media.tumblr.com/2997e94e52520c7b8e566c323469789a/tumblr_nbgo0oR6ia1tx8naao1_1280.jpg

Re: The European Gallery

Another Consul 235! A recent acquisition over the weekend. Only needed a small tidy and clean. Pica, standard typeface.

Re: The European Gallery

Sorry - not that anyone's really  looking at the moment anyway, but all my picture links are broken, and that is because there's some kind of hosting problem with my website. Hope to have that fixed asap.

That is a handsome machine! The DE LUXE engraving on the segment is interesting -- it's crudely done, reminiscent of Soviet-vintage photo equipment. Surprising, considering that the rest of it is very well finished.
