I picked up an Elekta 220 in nice condition and in working order at a neighborhood thrift store.  This model has a manual carriage return instead of the power return.  When I move the carriage to the right, I notice the carriage return lever touches the top of the ribbon cover.  My first impression was that the lever was bent, but I wanted to check to see if there might be some other less obvious cause before I go trying to remove and straighten the lever.  It actually does not look noticeably bent.  I was wondering if there were perhaps old compressed washers that support the carriage assembly that might need to be replace, or some other such adjustment//minor repair that might be the cause.  Any suggestions?
