Hello all, I just purchased a Mignon modell 4 and while it works well, the type cylinder is really worn out. I was wondering if anyone has a cylinder that they were looking to sell?

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

You have to click on the 'listing" part of the message that reads "The listing you’re looking for is no longer available. Check out this similar item we found for you." Sometimes it goes to the item sometimes not. If not I will put the other pictures here.

I spotted this machine on Ebay and all I can really tell is that it is an Underwood Standard and is somewhat modified, including the ribbon transport mechanism. Has anyone ever heard of this brand/maker/designer?

Have been thinking of buying an IBM Selectric and nearly bought one for sale nearby. But I wasn't sure if I was paying too much. What is a good price for a Selectric I that is working?

Thanks in advance.

Here's another recent acquisition. A 1954(?) Smith-Corona "Eighty-Eight" Deluxe Secretarial. Under the ribbon cover is stamped 'Feb 9 1955'. Found it in an indoor flea market.

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has any issues with stray smudges while typing on a Hammond? This seems to happen more so on my Multiplex which has a pretty worn out shuttle guard. Also, could it be that the ribbon is over inked? I added more ink to a ribbon because the print was initially quite faint.

Also could it be the 1/2" ribbon I am using? The original was thinner. Cannot remember the original size.

Would like to hear from some other Hammond owners to see how they've made out with their machines.

Thanks in advance.
