I have a similar machine but mine has the Tower logo in green instead of gold. And something charming about the seeming mismatch of that light green space bar. It's one of my favorites and a good typer.

Yes a tragic end, suicide with his terminally ill wife. He lived and ended life on his own terms.
I see he designed your recent Royal. He was right up there with Lowey for many wonderful industrial designs.
