Does anybody know about Brother Charger 11 typewriters?
I have my eyes on one and it has S/N of B73148397. I tried my best to figure out the year it was manufactured using typewriterdatabase.com, but I still cannot figure out if it is manufactured in 1977 or 1987.
Can anyone help me with this? It is kinda important to me. Thank you.

Are you sure about the serial number? It seems like there's one digit too many in it. When it comes to Brother models, the physical attributes of the machine can really help to narrow down the decade it was manufactured in. Can you post a photo of the typewriter in question - or provide a link to what you're looking at? Note that you need 3 posts under your belt here before you can post a photo or link.
The pronoun I has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.

I have asked several people who posted the same typewriter on eBay and everyone provided me 9 digits of serial numbers including:
B73148397 (the one I am looking at)
A53966620
J43700569
J43714441
B23159061
So, I assume the S/N the seller provided me is correct.
