Great.
It depends on how the space bar is tripping the escapement; some machines jump a whole space immediately the bar is pressed, some just move half a space, and complete the whole space only when the SB is released.

Your machine is a Remington Model 24 manufactured during the late '60s. Below is my 1968 model for comparison. I think the serial number, which should have a 'CM' or 'M' prefix, is located under the carriage on the right side of the machine (move the carriage all the way to the left).

Thank you very much, Uwe.  One difference I notice between yours and mine, is the brand name on the front.  Yours just says Remington, where mine also has 'Sperry Rand'.
