WTB: 1925 Underwood Standard Faceplate

I have an 1925 Underwood Standard. It underwent a factory rebuild sometimes in the 30's and at that time a blank faceplate was installed.
I would love a proper faceplate with the Underwood logo sticker and detailing on it.
Please let me know if you have one and we can work out something.

Here is one on eBay for $11.00. It is not in perfect condition, and you will want to double check to see if it looks like the same fit (I forget which exact model you have), but for $11.00 (plus 5 shipping), it may be worth it.

Sorry, I forgot to consider that you were in Canada. The shipping price may be different than what I said.

Yes. The difference in the dollar is insane. Plus the high shipping cost. Plus there may or may not be brokerage fees.
To buy it now would cost $43. Canadian dollars!  Just can't. Paid less for the machine.

Thanks anyway.

You could also try to strip and repaint your existing panel
then apply reproduction decals from here.

Thanks. I don't know if a complete tear down is within the realms of my capabilities.

But thanks. I will save the link in case I decide to do all the way with this.
