Hello everyone,
I received my Underwood 3 Bank yesterday, and to was horribly packed, even after I asked the seller to pack it carefully (I knew they wouldn't follow instructions exactly). I think the bad packing possibly caused this.
Anyways, the carriage is grinding when I use the carriage return. It does not return willingly. It just grinds. It sounds like there is a gear grinding, but I dont think so. It seems like it might be an issue with the ball bearing in the carriage being too tight.

Anyone have recommendations?
