Difference between Olivetti 22 vs Olivetti Scribe

In my search through the ebay listings for a clean, reasonably priced Olivetti 22, I keep seeing a machine called the Olivetti Scribe. It looks pretty much identical as far as i can see, and i cant find much info about it on google. Does anybody know what the difference is between these two typewriters is?

Thanks

Re: Difference between Olivetti 22 vs Olivetti Scribe

Olivetti isn't really my forte, but it's my understanding that the Scribe predated the Lettera 22. The Lettera 22 is essentially the exact same machine but with a new model name and updated by a few new components such as keys, line space lever, and Olivetti branding on the paper table.

The pronoun has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.

Ah, right.
They're much cheaper than the 22 on ebay. Very tempting!
