Silver-Reed 500
Hello
I've just brought a white Silver-Reed 500. I'm trying to find out what year it would have been manufactured and have Googled like crazy, but cannot find out any info with my serial number.
I would really appreciate it, if anyone knows. The serial number is: 20187207.
I do have a photo, but not sure how to attach it to this post.

Welcome to the forum, Rebecca. Instructions for posting photos are in the Type Talk FAQ thread.
I haven't seen published serial numbers that would cover your machine, but I would guesstimate based on earlier 500 model numbers that your machine was manufactured between 1981-83.
The pronoun I has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.
