OOhhh, babeh!!  You got yourself one hot chili mamma there!!  I now have an inspiration for what I want to do for a 1950 Royal QDL that looks almost just like that one.  I think that since the trim parts are grey, I might do a choral pink on mine.

I'm glad you like it!  It didn't turn out perfectly, unfortunately, but it's leagues better than before.  It's now become one of my favourite machines to look at!  A light choral pink would look good on a QDL - I think it would definitely add character.   That, and there's some intangible high you get when you get to transform a machine like that.  I've seen a couple that colour online in pictures - grey and pink would pair nicely.  When you complete it I'd love to see the transformation.
