Brother Charger 11: stuck vibrator
I need some help knowing what to do with a stuck vibrator. The vibrator on my Brother Charger 11 raises and lowers properly when the cap key is pressed but raises and stays up when the cap key is not held down. Also, the ribbon advances when the vibrator works properly and does not when it stays up.

My guess is that the ribbon vibrator is bent, probably towards you when facing the keyboard. You may need a fine pair of pointed pliers to ease it back until it drops down properly.
