Hi Guys-

I was wondering if anyone has experience with Swintec/Nakajima typewriters and would be up to offering any thoughts on them. How to you like the key feel/actual typing experience? It is so ridiculously tempting to want to order a brand new typewriter for which factory after market service is still available.I do prefer the complete experience of manual typewriting, but there is something about the idea of a brand new typewriter with factory support that I just can't get past. I wonder a lot what their key feel typing experience it actually like. There seems to be a distinct difference between lower and upper models in the catalogs, but it is not clear to me if the feel of typing on each keyboard is different. The Swintec 7000, though very expensive at around $700 seems to be calling my name much more than I would like it it to...talk me out of it!
