Hello. Thanks for letting me join this group. I am somewhat new to typewriter repair. As a overall business machines seller/service, we have dealt with typewriters for years, I now find myself as the person who has to take over the repairs, as sadly the gentleman who have handled this for us in the past have passed away.

I am hoping I can get some help with a IBM Personal Wheelwriter 2 with no power. When it is powered up, it makes one faint "clicking" or what I would describe as a "zzzz"sound. No lights on the display, and no beeping sounds. I have already swapped power supplies and checked the function board for staples/etc.   Does anyone know of any other possibilities causing this?  Thank you for any help you can provide!
