    Ribbon won't move up when typing

    Hello everyone!
    I needed some help! I bought a Bar lock manual typewriter and its ribbon wont move up when i press the keys. I tried looking to see inside what the issue is but i couldnt figure out how to open it and also i didnt want to break anything. Can anyone please help?

    The Bar-Lock has a lever for "stencil mode" that disengages the ribbon mechanism.  It sounds like you may have it in stencil mode.
