Hey there,
Is it possible to reinstall the segment bearings for the universal bar? I didn't realize there were bearings in here until they came flying out and have been bashing my head against the wall trying to understand how these are even supposed to sit on the rails. The SG1 repair manual hasn't been helpful for this unfortunately. If anyone has references photos that would also be a huge help.

Maybe the exploded views (pages 7 & 8) in the Olympia SG1 parts catalog could somewhat help.

Thanks, these are in the repair manual, but it's not clear how they're installed. I did find a side view in a random video online and can see where the bearing plates are, but they don't seem to fit anywhere because there's screws in the way nor do I understand how they stay in place.

Okay I figured it out! I was so confused because the rails were on backwards, that's why the gap between the rails where the bearings ride was so wide. I was panicking when I saw bearings and in my haste put them in wrong.
I've got it back in the machine now and here are some reference photos for future adventurers. This was extremely difficult to get back together and in the machine.

Couldn't have been easy - congrats!

I use teflon grease to hold such small ball-bearings in place while putting such back together.
