This is an update for anyone who is still listening. I have finally gave my SM-4 a dunk cleaning and it got out quite a bit of gunk. I repaired the platen, and replaced the ribbon. So now it's perfect!

The color is actually the olive green option. I know it looks dark grey in these

Looks like a great clean machine.  What's the typeface? - standard? - unusual?  Maybe post a typing sample?

The typeface is quite generic. It's nothing unusual, but it's clean and matches my other Olympia typefaces. So I can use any of my Olympias, and no one could tell the difference!

As for the tabs problem, I didn't quite fix it. I think something is lose, but I couldn't find it. But it's alright for me. I only set two tabs anyway. The standard paragraph five spaces and one in the very center for easy carriage locking.
