Reading back to beak's original post I am saddened that I could not bid on an Ambassador which came in its original Swiss milspec shipping crate: and merely because the thing was bulky as a sofa table and would have been a two man lift ... though if one had a sofa it would be a nice surprise to pull the typewriter out of your table! I believe that machine had micro-type.

Update: the seller and I agreed on a price worth the 3 hr drive. I'm excited and hoping the typing feel is different than the SG-1. Now where do I put this?
