I read this a while ago somewhere, and havent seen anything else about it. Some of you may already know about this. Also, this might not work with completley dried out ribbons.
Anyways, have a ribbon that has a little life in it, but you dont want to throw it out? Spray some WD-40 on it!
First: Unravel your old ribbon into a box (So you dont spray WD-40 everywhere)
Second: Spray some WD-40 on it. Enough to soak it, but not too much to drown it.
Third: Wait about 30 minutes to let it soak in.
Fourth: Ravel it back up, and it should work like new again!
