Another round of Hunt for the Serial Number
I've got what I believe to be a Royal KMM, but can't locate the serial number. Help?
(I already tried pulling the carriage all the way to the right.)

I looked at one at an antique mall, and I think I remember that it is under the carriage, on the right hand side (so maybe try pulling the carriage all the way to the left). I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I am wrong, which is entirely possible/probable.

Ah, that helped, thanks! There is indeed a tiny plate there, so dirty I hadn't recognized it as having a number on it.
