The Tatum Buddy was made by the John Wilson Co. originally.  Later the Buddy name went to an ACE stapler.

This Tatum Buddy is a real standout.

In today's corporate worlds, I think if I had one on my desk while I was still workig...the HR folks would be waiting for me at the entry doors.

Have this "Buddy" stapler made by ACE in-coming.  Model 155.

Looks to be new-in-box.  Sure has a 1950's look to it.

It does have the anvil that moves front-to-back to switch from staple to pin.

....... and about that stapler with the blade. My first thought was why would anyone combine an office stapler with a weapon; then I realized that it is a letter opener.

Had a typo in Post # 121.

It was the "Wilson Jones Company" that made the Tatum Buddy.

More info. about that firm here :

The Ace Buddy is quite a light-weight.

The heavy-duty feel of the Ace Liner and the Ace Cadet is not there.

The thick lusterous chrome of those other models is not there either.  The chrome of the Buddy is more of a thin, satin nickel plating.

It has been awhile since I found a new-to-me colour for an Aceliner stapler.

This one is a true "butterscotch" colour.  More photos next week.

This might tempt me to go after another Olympia Traveller and make it a "butterscotch" machine.
