Hi there,
I’m new to the forum but not to the typewriter world.
I found this typewriter and the color looks a bit unusual. Any thoughts or info?

Almost certainly a rebuild and not the original factory colour.  Sort of attractive though !

 Indeed!
However I don’t think is a recent job, probably was restored few years back. The paint job I have to say is done well. The question is why would you spend money and time rebuilding such a common typewriter?

The answer is probably that the machine was rebuilt by a typewriter dealer when it was perhaps already 20 years old.  The new paint job was to  'update' the appearance of the typewriter to make it more attractive for resale.

This is probably what’s happened.
Thank you very much for the help, I appreciate.
