Ahhh never mind, I found out a good method which I will post in the next how to build a smith premier. It takes about 10-30 minutes for each row now. Let me just tell you guys, THESE HAVE THE LIGHTEST TOUCH! Ever! Well, for an early typewriter anyways. Its just amazing what a difference a rebuild can make and proper adjustments.

...I need the motivation to get off my butt and finally work on this over spring break... I'll be sure to check it out if I do need the instruction (which I probably will).

All of the keys are done and put in, currently placing in all of the linkages for the type bars....

Haha, I will! I cannot wait to use it!

Im really starting to appreciate smith premiers... They have two sets of adjustment. Actually 3. One is the screw holding in the type bar, one is the type bar link, and on is the bar holding the key.

Have you been able to get the main feed roller out? That's the main stopping block in the repair process for me...

No I have not.... Right now I am in the process of building the main body, once I get the carriage on and the body completely built I will try again. Probably Thursday. Im rebuilding this in record time as I have to show it at an event on the 13th!
