I'm just exploring electric typewriters and had the good luck of stumbling into this one. It's a tank, and has an electric carriage return. I love the recessed keys and feel, the inky typeface, which seems something between pica and elite. It came with the original manual, warranty card and first owner's receipt. She told me she learned how to type on this machine.

That was our family typewriter that my dad purchased in 1971. My brother still had it after all these years. We recently loaned it to a local art house cinema. Great machine.

JoeV, indeed a great typewriter. I usually use manuals and use an Olympia SM3 most days. But I haven't been able to put this machine down. It's astounding.

Well, since pica is ten characters per inch and elite is 12 characters per inch, it should be easy to measure yours to see how it compares.

Could be that international 11-pitch type size I've heard about.
