I ordered one of these typewriters and some online research indicates the ribbons are hard to find. Is that correct?

The local repair shop has a catalog where they order ribbons from.  I can ask the next time I'm there.

Smith Premier typewriters are cool!

I searched national and international sites for a cartridge ribbon and found nothing--until today. I hit the jackpot when I found an eBay listing for an "Olivetti Lexicart 80." These were made for the Lexicon 82 and 83, and there are five in the lot. That should tide me over for awhile. But, yes, it was sheer luck.
