I need a SC Variable Line Spacing  Button.
It's a small knob-like metal button at the end of the Left Platen. Conical in shape.
I think it screws in place?
Thanks.

Hi Phil,
The serial number is 5A 605386
That makes it series 5A, I think.

Since it is a Super 5 series, this is actually a plunger, which you pull, not a button which you push, correct? If so I may have one. There are two types, both look the same looking right at the end of the platen knob. One is more or less a cone with the shaft of the line release mechanism going into the pointed side of the cone, being secured by a nut. The other is like a hat, but attaches the same way. Which do you have?

I pulled on the tiny amount of threaded screw and it does pull out, about 3/4 inch.
I don't know if it needs the "cone" or the "hat" shaped.
Whatever one you have should be good, I think?
Thanks Phil.

Hi Phil,
I think that maybe the "hat" shaped one might work best. It might be shorter and so it does not interfere with the lid of the case when closing?
Either one would be great if you had one.
Thanks!
