Pete here is my SM4, and same cool color as yours. Perfect except for missing the tiniest screw; and what were the chances of finding it loose in the case? Also performed the usual rubber spacers routine as the carriage was just beginning to rub the body. This is my first cursive/script machine.

Hi Mike,

Congratulations on the SM4.  Glad it went to your home.

You got it for a very good deal and being cursive script makes it even better.

I, too, gave a FB seller twice what she was asking for my SM9.  Did not want to feel like I took advantage of an elderly person.

And the condition of your case !  WOOOOWWWW !

Even I would NOT be tempted to do anything other than clean and maybe deodorize the interior.

Mike,

Here is that same "camelion" body color on a 1960 SM2 :

Yes, depending on the light source, a very pale green. I've seen lichen that color in the woods.

It's a calming color. I've left that machine out for use the last couple of weeks. I think it rounds out my collection and I'm not really tempted to add anything new for now. But still interested in investigating an Olivetti, and maybe one of the ultra portable Olympias.

Are there white SM3s? I've seen some pale SM3s come up online, and I'd always read the color as white with inconsistent color balancing. Now I'm wondering if those were actually this lichen color...
