If I land a nice Jade-green one and a reddish one...I think I will close up the new rabbit hole I have fallen into.

I have seen a few of those, but they are the Variation # 2 with its 3-rivets along the plastic top and no "Aceliner" logo on the top...so will keep looking for those colours in the Variation # 3.

Nice find on the user instruction!

Tyey were on the bottom of the page in the link I posted up in Post # 8.

That article also defines the traits seen in variations # 1 thru # 4.

For some reason, I cannot seem to get excited about variations # 1 and # 2 with their lack of "Aceliner" on the top and no flutes in the plastic along the two sides.  But I think the jade-green and mottled-red colours only appear with those two variations.

Two more Variation # 3's are in-bound.

An Avocado Green and a nice Grey.

That green one needs to sit next to one of your orange early-70s typewriters. Perhaps a brown coffee mug, too.

My new-to-me tan-coloured one  (in Post # 20, above) came but the working "hammer" end of the staple push rod was missing 1/2 of what is needed to drive a staple.

Reached out to the Owner on eBay since they advertised that the stapler "works perfectly".  Got a refund and the seller did not want it back.

So now I own a "parts machine"...oh boy !

Hi Rob,

I will play around with some staplers and typers when my stapler "hoard" feels complete for photo shoots.

My growing hoard...7 in working order, 1 was DOA but free after an eBay refund.

I have a tan one and a white/cream one coming.

Do you have a matching typewriter for each one?

I think I am close...

The dean-on-arrival stapler which is missing a critical part might actually get a color-change by me.

Ace never made a stapler in aqua-marine or turquoise.

I think I am up to that task.  And I have an Olympia electric waiting for a colour chance to its ribbon cover.

Oooh! Great color choices. I look forward to the results.
