While looking through some Phoenix Typewriter videos, I came across this very nice video using computer animation to show the theory of operation of an Underwood 5. It's a good video for explaining to people how mechanical typewriters work.

I remember running across this video on my recommended page a little while ago! I'm glad someone posted it here; this video really helped me understand how it all works!
