Just as Olivetti seems to represent Italy, one can`t but think of Hermes when asked to suggest a typewriter born in the Alps. However, there were other great Swiss brands. Patria, for example, licenced its highly successful portable design to many other manufacturers such as Oliver (England) and Voss (Germany). Is there a Swiss machine in your collection?
