WTT: Want Any Type Shuttle Typewriter! (Hammond, Blick, etc.)

As in the title, looking for a type shuttle typewriter! Id rather have one of the more common models...

Anyways, I  also dont care if they are dirty and unrestored either (Id prefer it though). Id like it complete.

Looking to trade one or more of my machines. You can ask for a list, but to name a few I have a Royal arrow portable, smith corona skywriter (Id combine these with something else) Really nice underwood 5, Remington 10, Royal Futura in green, and more..

Re: WTT: Want Any Type Shuttle Typewriter! (Hammond, Blick, etc.)

EDIT

Might as well post a list of everything I have for trade...

1948 Royal Arrow
1950 Smith Corona Skyriter
1956 Royal Speed King (Not finished cleaning yet)
1959 Royal Futura (In the uncommon green color!)
1925 (I think) Underwood Standard 5
1911 Remington Standard 10
1929 Remington Portable Model 1
1946 Remington KMC
1928 Underwood Standard 5 (Refinished in grey crinkled)
1910 Remington Standard 10 (Refinished in grey crinkle)
1915 Oliver Standard Printype 9
Unknown Date Underwood Standard 1,2,4, or 5 Metal Cover. (But I value it at $200)

Some machines that are for parts, or I have not got around to cleaning:

Unknown Royal KMG (Works, dirty and may need repaint)
Unknown Long carriage Royal KMG (Works, dirty and may need repaint)
Unknown Extra Long carriage Remington KMC (Think it works, carriage stuck in center but moves. Really rusty but its light rust.)
1905 Smith Premier 4 (FOR PARTS!)

Ill trade for a type shuttle with one, or two maximum machines (Unless of coure, you have a rarer model.) But if you have, lets say a Blick 7, the more common model, Ill only trade max 2 of my machines, and only a select few. All of mine are in excellent shape, unless said so. All of them have been serviced, except for a few. Just ask.

I really hope one of use can complete a trade! Ive never done one... Also, I may be able to put some money towards one AND with a machine added.

I also have a great condition Smith Premier 4, serviced (Actually in the process) Still fixing it, so may take some time. I value it at $400+.

AGAIN, I CAN PAY FOR YOUR MACHINE, but max I can spend is $100, and the rest I can make up in trading. I will negotiate alot to typewriter talk members only.

Re: WTT: Want Any Type Shuttle Typewriter! (Hammond, Blick, etc.)

What would you want for the Underwood 5 that you want the least? I have a 1962 Royal Empress, 1967 Olympia SM-9 with cursive typeface (no silent carriage return though) and a 1947 Remington Noiseless for trade too.

Re: WTT: Want Any Type Shuttle Typewriter! (Hammond, Blick, etc.)

I absolutley hate the Refinished Underwood 5. Its the grey crinkle. It works great, its just I have too many Underwoods. Its not cleaned, but its not filthy either.

Is the Remington a desktop, or portable? And how wide is the Royal at widest point? (Ive heard these are huge, but I just want to know how big )

Also, this trade if we agree would take a little while because Im not ready at this moment, but possible in a week or two.

Re: WTT: Want Any Type Shuttle Typewriter! (Hammond, Blick, etc.)

It's all just hypothetical, but now isn't a good time for me either.

The Remington is a portable. Also called the Model 7. The dimentions of the Royal are 17 x 18 x 9 inches and it weighs a ton. (It should be said that the tabulator is a bit slow at the moment...).

Re: WTT: Want Any Type Shuttle Typewriter! (Hammond, Blick, etc.)

I dont mind with the tab. If we were to trade, then Id want the Royal. If you want, I have a really nice Underwood, almost mint, but Im going to have to get a bit more.

Re: WTT: Want Any Type Shuttle Typewriter! (Hammond, Blick, etc.)

Could you post pictures of both please? I don't really care about cosmetics, but maybe I'd like a nicer one to complement my Royal 10.
