Hi everyone,

I am restoring a Royal Quiet De Luxe, serial AG-2108616 which apparently puts it somewhere between 1950 and 1951.

Here she is so far:


It's missing the plastic portion off the right platen knob, however I suppose that means I need to replace the entire platen rod as well? If anyone knows better about this, I am all ears.

Similarly if anyone can suggest something else I could do here, like using a part from another model, I would be grateful for advice.
