Differences between Olympia SF and TRAVELER

Are the differences cosmetic, or mechanical as well? I know the Traveler is later.

Thanks!

Re: Differences between Olympia SF and TRAVELER

There may be small differences, but as I understand it they're essentially the same machine.

Re: Differences between Olympia SF and TRAVELER

There are numerous mechanical differences between the two models, which is to be expected given that their respective introductions were some fifteen years apart. I've never documented these differences, but having poked around under the hood of both models, these changes were noticable; I would describe the Traveller as the recipient of evolutionary mechanical changes (arguably, not all of them for the better - some were to cut production costs), and not revolutionary ones.

The pronoun has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.

Re: Differences between Olympia SF and TRAVELER

Thank you. They seem--- metallic. I picked up two last weekend, 1970. One a German keyboard. I like them, they do the job, but they don't have the "feel" of other Olympias. I tried an SF, and it does.
