Re: Ribbons

Does Baco have a website or a catalog. I've only recently become aware of them but I cannot find much via The Google.

Re: Ribbons

Baco doesn't have a catalog or website at the moment. As I understand it, it is a one woman operation- and they do have excellent ribbons. I (and I think many) got the information for Baco through Richard Polt's website. http://site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/tw-faq.html

Re: Ribbons

I just wanted to share that I recently purchased a silk ribbon from Jay Repsler of Advanced Business Machines Co. It was exactly what I was looking for and I highly reccomend one! The print looks pretty much as sharp as print from a machine with a carbon ribbon, like a Selectric, but yet is ink based. I am quite pleased!

Re: Ribbons

An update to this thread a long time later, Baco is now willing to sell me a silk ribbon. I am elated! I will be ordering one soon. My ribbon from Jay Respler is JUST starting to wear down. Could not be ANY happier with using silk.....
