Luckily I didn't lose the part, so no rebuilding to consider from a paper clip.

The links are very informative and I hope I will have the dexterity to fix my problem.

Here is a view from the Super Riter mechanical instructions manual for better understanding. Unfortunetly it does'nt explain how to fix my issue. 

Parts concerned are : 2-41787, 2-41410 and 2-52348.

Hello,

I  need help to repair a Remington Super Riter. Indeed the link between the C key and the hammer has come loose.


I can't put the rod back. I can put one side or the other, but not both at the same time due to the shape of the piece.
There is not much room to work.



Does anyone have the technique to put this part in place.



Even after opening the typewriter with the "Fold-o-Matic"  , i 've no acces to these parts.

Attached are photos of the part and where it should be.

HelloI'm Christophe from France. I'm 50. Excuse my english which is a mix of school Learning and Google translation help .I ve Always loved typewriters, the object itself, and all the stories attached to each machine.
