Unknown. Just got it and it already has a new ribbon installed by the restoration shop on Etsy. "Hermesman".

Mint Condition, Fully Restored.
Notes: Heavy typing action with long travel. Very "tight" feeling of precision mechanisms.
Note: Touch Control feature is on J4 models

Very true. The "action" on this one is heavy.  Had I known about the "touch control", I would have sought a J4/5 with that feature.

Just bought this, fully restored, mint condition. Action is a bit heavier than I prefer, typeface "font" seems large. Has a 1-1/2 space line advance which is nice and not often found. Case is in perfect condition.

I never thought about that.
Yes. Some Italic machines that I have are tough to read so I tend not to use them.
Which ones are easy to read?
