Uwe,
Yes you are right. This one has the permanent label you mention :

Having spent an afternoon working on my 80-ish neighbor's 1947 Royal QDL (in black), I found myself missing that little machine in my hands. So I found this grey one a week later. Should be in my home in a week or so.

Well...what looked like a grey machine in the seller photos turns out it was just dusty and needed a good scrubbing. Nice, lovely black typewriter under it all. Only issue that needs sorting out is the "Q" key is a bit lazy in returning to rest. After some concentrated cleaning and air-blowing, looks like its return spring is a bit weak. It just does not travel the last 1/4" of travel before it sits on the felt bumper/rest. Will give it some time to see if it sorts itself out or if I may need to shorted the existing spring...

Collection grew a bit during the stay-at-home Covid-19 times...so I sprang for a 2nd. display shelving unit.
Shelves are USA-made by Fleximounts and you can buy direct from the factory or even special order at Lowe's.
Dust covers are usually on the machines but took them off for photo taking.
German machines are on the left shelves and USA (and 1 Swiss) machines are on the right shelves.

Nice display you got there.
