Olympia SM8
It was recently pointed out to me that my Olympia SM9 was an Olympia SM8 I had complained the the action was uncertain. I wondered if it was a lower grade machine, but was told that I might reclean it. So I did, and it is now working fine. Thanks for the encouragement.

I got an SM8 the other week - just a cuple of weeks ago actualy - and it's such a dream to use. I really love it. Glad you got yours sorted out! What a waste that would have been of a really beautiful machine.
