    My Corona Four has the same steps, and I had to lightly tap the rod with a hammer, so if its stuck, don't panic! Mine was locked with thick grease, so when I got it out, I degreased it.

    Back from a long break.

    Starting fresh with my favorite typer. A Royal Futura!

    I used to have a folding Carona 3 that was in beautiful condition. I've racked my brain but cannot remember what happened to it. I suspect it was left behind when I moved from the East Coast, so maybe someone in Maine is enjoying it now.
