Invicta MP1 serial number
I just can't find the serial number - does anyone have one, or know where I should look? I can't post photos of it at the moment as the photobucket is full of cats (down for maintenance).

Ok, found it under grime on the frame underneath! 125267
Going by what I can see on the TDB it looks like it's a 1949 machine.

That was my problem with trying to find a serial number on my 1921 LC Smith model 8. The serial number was under so much dirt that I didn't realize there was a number engraved there. I thought it was just a piece of metal. Of course, it took the guy at the repair shop to find it. Oh well. :D
