Thanks for this, Amelia.

I've never explored Google Docs before. It looks very useful.

When I get the time, I'll start uploading some of my scans.

Amelia: Thank you for sharing this! I'd say about 50% of the typewriters I've come across require some kind of repair. I wouldn't claim to have any mechanical aptitude (though I've managed to 'fix' a few) so I'm grateful to have as much help as I can get. This looks like a great resource. Cheers!

Re: The Typewriter Repair Manual by Howard Hutchison c. 1981

I'm glad you guys like it.
I actually don't own this book (sells for way too much $).
I checked it out from the local library a while back and scanned the parts that were of interest to me (left out electric typewriters and the last two chapters that focused on specific typewriter models).

As soon as I get over this awful flu , I will start scanning and posting more stuff.

I recently acquired another book
(refer to this post http://typewriter.boardhost.com/viewtopic.php?pid=674#p674).
If you see anything in the table of contents you might want scanned, please submit a request and I will do my best.

Hi there. My apologies for getting around to this so late. Unfortunately, I've already returned the book to the library. Have you tried checking it out from your local library?
