You may have to find an out of the way place where no one else seems to go. Many authors find it a challenge to find a peaceful place. They're out there. I sometimes like to go to quiet picnic parks or wooded areas. Good luck!

I just found the thread. I type my journal and an occasional letter to my sister who bought a Smith Corona to correspond with me. I am compiling a birding list of all the species I seen and find the typewriter is great for this.

Family not too interested on getting a letter. Fortunately I have a sister and a cousin who I write letters to and they will reply in kind. I have been looking for a typewriter pen pal as I would enjoy writing more.
