1919 Fox No. 24 escapement adjustment
Hello all,
I have a Fox No. 24 typewriter that works well, but occasionally, the escapement doesn't release (in other words letters get jumbled up). Is there a way to adjust the escapement?
Any help would be appreciated.

I know it's asking the obvious, but have you given it a good cleaning already?
The pronoun I has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.

I'll be honest, I haven't, only because everything worked pretty well once I replace the pull cord.
