Hello.
My Maritsa 30 skips if I press 'a' too hard. From what the internet tells me, this means the 'rack bar teeth' are worn. Is that mega hard to fix?

It may be due to improper typing technique. If you hit the keys too hard to the bottom and/or linger on the stroke, it can cause skipping on many typewriters. You want to use quick staccato strokes. Unless it always does it at the same point on the line, it is unlikely to be a worn rack. There are escapement issues that can cause this, but I would look at typing technique first.
