A friend of my many years ago showed me an Underwood #6 version.  It typed only in san serif capital letters and numbers.  It was all maroon-colored.

Looks like two typebars are missing?

Looks like keys are pressed down to me, so type bars are probably locked together near the platen.
Of course I could be wrong !!

You're probably right. I saw that a couple of keys were lower, but in another photo it didn't show any of the typebars near the type point, which is why I first thought they might be missing. It's more likely that they're just out of sight behind the margin rail.
